An incredible conference occurred in Belo Horizonte,
Brazil in February, 07. Not counting Sao Paulo, about 1/2 of the entire
membership of the Brazilian churches attended. Sao Paulo sent about 100
disciples, and Paraguay sent 16 disciples. God brought about a great
victory as a result of this conference, and a fire has been lit in
Brazil and Paraguay that is now being fanned into flame. God desires
the fires of revival and this is exactly what is occurring. My purpose in this article is to update you on these exciting developments, and also to let you know that God worked mightly through Marcos and Denise Araujo, who conceived the idea of the conference and implemented it in an excellent way. Marcos and Denise and 2 other Belo couples
came to the Florida Discipleship Conference 2 years ago and this
expereince helped them to host a similar conference in Brazil. God
used this occasion to move in
amazing ways. After lighting candles in a moving evening service to
pledge each churches unity to each other, the fire erupted. Then, like
embers being blow from a fire, the disciples left this conference to
return to their home churches energized and ready to set ablaze their
home congregations. The reports are still coming in, but it appears
that this is what is happening: God is stiring his people at times and
places that we do not expect.
I did not want you to be unaware of this, especially since the
Florida Discipleship Conference this year is titled "Start the Fire."
My prayer is that God will continue this revival in the USA, the
same way it is now happening in Brazil and Paraguay.
I have attached a few pictures from the conference, and have many
more. If you want to hear more about what happened in Beloand how the
fire of revival is spreading, please do not hesitate to contact me.
